Blinds are an extremely flexible window dressing solution. They can work beautifully in combination with curtains – perhaps to provide additional privacy at the front of the house – or by themselves in any of their many styles and formats.
As a standalone dressing for your windows, roller blinds can be less expensive than curtains and work particularly well in kitchens, bathrooms and conservatories. The possibilities in terms of styles are varied with a thin roller blind being very useful for privacy, a slightly thicker one providing protection from the sun and a black out option being ideal for bedrooms. You’re almost guaranteed to be able to match a roller blind to your colour scheme and we can also laminate any fabric to match up with your other furnishings.
Our roman blinds are made by hand and can either be interlined for warmth or for blackout purposes. These provide a slightly softer and elegant look at your windows and so can work in any room. They also enable you to make use of more luxuriant and rich fabrics.
Furnishings Studio can also provide both wooden and aluminum blinds in a range of shades and options. These can add a more contemporary feel to your room while shutters – so popular today – are often a very good solution in terms of not only privacy but also providing some additional soundproofing.
